The Story BEHIND it all

Hi, I’m Kelli, the Owner and Principle Designer at Casa Linda Interior Studio and I am so happy you’re here!

I started my career in the fashion industry, producing hundreds of fashion shows and retail events. After discovering my passion for beautiful interiors it was time for a career pivot and I dove straight into the world of Interior Design. I was lucky enough to gain 4 years of experience at a high-end design studio in Orange County, California. There, I found that by applying my creative eye and logistical skills from event production I had a chance at success in interior design. I ended up falling even deeper in love with interiors and with the process it takes to get projects to the finish line. In those years I helped the company expand and went from Design Intern to Design Director. As Design Director, I managed a large team of designers, ran the new business department and led key design projects. I was also featured on the renowned platform, The Expert. Establishing a lasting relationship with my clients and impacting their lives by improving their surroundings became the fulfillment I was looking for in my career.

In 2023 it was time for another pivot and my husband and our two dogs moved from California to where we now call home - Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. With this life change, I wanted to merge my knowledge of fashion and interiors and offer to the world spaces that are both relaxed and refined. Here is where Casa Linda Interior Studio was born - a place where beautiful design and function meet.

Design is something I do because I truly love it. I am constantly drawing inspiration from nature, culture and current design trends. I approach design with a minimal mindset and bring influence from California, Mexico and Europe, all while using organic materials and textures. Designing fuels my soul. I thrive on creating relationships with my clients and guiding them through a life of beauty and function. The Look and feel

The story of Casa Linda is rooted in a commitment to quality and attention to detail. Each design is tailored to meet the needs and preferences of clients, ensuring that their spaces are not only aesthetically pleasing but also practical for everyday living. This diverse approach allows Casa Linda to create distinctive environments that resonate with the individuality of each client. After all, homes are for living! I try to push the creative design boundaries where possible, but always keep function in mind. You will see a lot of neutrals here at CL, where I have a strong belief that interest does not need to come from bright colors, but from texture and materials of the earth. The goal is a calming, warm aesthetic that you will never tire of. Casa Linda Interior Studio is dedicated to enhancing the lives of its clients through thoughtfully designed interiors that tell a personalized story.

The Name

The story behind the name “Casa Linda Interior Studio” came firstly from my grandmother, Linda. In Spanish Linda can translate to “lovely”, while “Casa” of course means home and here, I am all about the value and feeling of home. While pondering how to bring my experience in design from California and Mexico together, while mixing in a name that is important to me and my family, I thought “Casa Linda” embodied everything that this studio honors.
