The Story

Hi, I’m Kelli, the Founder and Principle Designer at Casa Linda Interior Studio and I am so happy you’re here!

I started my career in the fashion industry and spent 7 years producing hundreds of fashion shows and retail events. After discovering my passion for beautiful interiors, I decided it was time for a career pivot and dove into the world of Interior Design. After searching for a place where I could try my hand at design, I was lucky enough to gain 4 years of experience at a high end design studio in Orange County, California. There, I found by applying my creative eye and logistical skills from event production I had a chance at success in interior design. I ended up falling even deeper in love with interiors and with the process to get projects to the finish line. In those years, I worked my way up from Design Intern to Design Director. As Design Director, I managed a large team of designers, ran the new business department and led key design projects. I was also featured on the platform The Expert, where clients can pay for top designer’s time to give feedback on their projects. Establishing a lasting relationship with my clients and often impacting their lives by improving their surroundings became the fulfillment I was looking for in my career.

In 2023 it was time for another pivot. This season of change brought my husband and our two dogs from Orange County, California to where we now call home - Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. With this life change, I wanted to merge my knowledge of fashion and interiors and offer casual, but sophisticated interiors to the world. Here is where Casa Linda Interior Studio was born - a place where beautiful design and function meet.

Design is something I do because I truly love it. I am constantly inspired by others and my surroundings. I approach design with a minimal mindset and bring in a bit of Mexican and European influence, using organic materials and textures. Designing fuels my soul. I thrive on creating relationships with my clients and guiding them through a life of beauty and function. The Name

The story behind the name “Casa Linda Interior Studio” came firstly from my grandmother. Her name was Linda, which in Spanish can translate to “lovely”, while “Casa” of course means home and here, I am all about the value and feeling of home. When thinking of how to bring my experience in design from California and Mexico together, while mixing in a name that is important to me and my family, I thought “Casa Linda” embodied everything that this studio honors.

The Look

Casa Linda is all about warm and livable interiors. After all, homes are for living! I try to push the creative design boundaries where I can, but always keep function in mind. You will see a lot of neutrals here at CL, where I have a strong belief that interest does not need to come from bright colors, but from texture and materials of the earth. The goal is a calming esthetic that you will never tire of. I like to incorporate a comfortable and minimal esthetic, which you can expect in your project.

THE SERVICES

After having worked on homes in every way - from virtual consultations to hands-on construction - I wanted to offer a little bit of everything for everyone. It is also important to note that you do not need to own a home to achieve your interior design dreams. I have had plenty of experience turning rentals into stylish and welcoming spaces. At Casa Linda I offer a little bit of everything for everyone. There are hour consultations for those who are seeking an expert opinion, styling sessions for those who just need those finishing touches and full service design which can be offered in person or virtually. Homes are personal and the process should be a trust-filled partnership, where you can expect to have the right balance of guidance.
